PASTOR SANDY

I am honored and delighted to introduce myself and beginning this season of ministry with you. I come with a heart ready to listen, to learn, and to serve alongside you as we grow together in faith, hope, and love.

I am a second career pastor answering God’s call to pastoral ministry after 30 Years in nursing. In addition to my nursing education, I have attended Somerset Christian College achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling before enrolling at Drew University and graduating with a Master’s Degree in Divinity believing that it’s never too late to be all God created you to be!

I am passionate about creative worship connecting the stories of the Bible with life today. I embrace a role that empowers our laity to both identify and use their gifts in service and mission as the church connects with the community in a way that offers hope, grace and love.

I believe that we are living in times that are marked by uncertainty, division, and rapid change— which makes our need for spiritual grounding greater than ever. I strive to create the church as a safe space to pray, to wrestle with big questions, to share joys and burdens, always being reminded of the hope we have in Christ. The church is not just a building; it is a living, breathing body of people called together for such a time as this.
